thanks....he seems to be doing well.....i add brine shrimp every couple days and we are trying to cultivate some copepods.....but all in all he is doing pretty good.

your tank looks nice...
beautiful mandarin and I am glad you are aware of its eating habbits..
BTW whats with the fresh water fake plants?

Matt:)

hahaha yeah they are just for color right now until i can aquire some more coral....kinda afraid of killing it.so i will hold off for a little bit more. I am glad you guys like it....I appreciate all the compliments.

Do you have measurable amounts of pods in your tank yet? A refugium going?Have you seen the mandarin eat Brine? He looks underfed. They typically starve to death in newer tanks, sorry but thought you should know now.

yes....everything in the tank is actually over a year old. So it isn't brand new besides the fish and the sand. I have a sump and have pods down there......also as i said before we are also cultivating cpoepods in a 10 gallon tank. The mandarin does eat the brine shrimp whenever i put them in there he comes out and eats some. I appreciate your concern but we are taking care of him. He was actually that little when we bought him from the store. We have had him since the 4th or so.....but we have been watching him to see how he does. if anything we may put him into my husbands refugium that he has for his tank.
