Wow you guys have done a real nice job with that tank, congrates!!

What kind of lighting are you running over it?? And how old is it now??

I'm guessing EVC Tech 10k 400 Watters ;)

I may try out one of their 10ks or 14ks for a prop tank. Sanjay, i can't wait for the 250 W SE EVC Tech tests to come out in February. Thanks for doing all those tests.

Sanjay, welcome to RF. I must say that is one awesome looking set up. What equipment are you using to run it and how big is the tank? Everything looks happy in there. Great job!!!

Here are the specs on the tank from a few years ago.

http://www.advancedaquarist.com/issues/oct2002/aquarium.htm

The major changes made since then was the addition of 6 eductors to the 3 closed loops dirven by the Iwaki 70s. Each of the pumps handles 2 eductors (the penductor versions) and the addition of 2 tunze streams.... its a whirlpool in there now :)

The lamps have recently been switched over to 400W EVC 10000K lamps, and so far I am very happy with them.

We also added a Kalk reactor and all the replacement water runs through it.

Major coral overhaul (trimming) and relocation has had to be done several times and you can see that if you compare the pics from the article in 2002.

I am the trimmer of coral.. or rather the one who hacks them with a screwdriver and hammer :D

And yes, there is no supplemental lighting with Actincs.
