Hey everyone. I returned from Boston last night and had a nice time. Sure there were lots of controversies there, Anthony not being let in, vendors in wind-blown tents, speakers competing with 2 other speakers at the same time, water taxis, aquarium banquets that did not have enough room for everyone in one place, and an hour and a half speaking engagement sitting on benches with no backs ... :) but I really enjoyed meeting friends I have talked to for a long time and hanging out, enjoying the scenery, the history of Boston, meeting some of our sponsors .... all in all I enjoyed my visit. Here are some pictures of both Boston and the MACNA event.

The Boston Skyline, what a pretty city ...

Awesome, Chuck! I'll get some of the pics I took posted, too. You left out the part about servers getting trained on our table....everyday - :D

Just so everyone knows....Chuck spent ALOT of time at the NEAquarium booth, learning about the creatures in that cold water tank, and helping the girls figure out the ºC conversion to ºF. :)

Barry of Clams Direct and Gene/zhenya were awesome to meet......Barry had a couple of rare invisible clams for me in that display tank.

I was also able to meet with Tony/Acropora of Reef Exotics one of our sponsors.

Pictured at the table above starting from the left is: Sharks/Mark, Curt, Mike, Me, Cath, and Cheeks/Robert

They needed some technical consulting is all :p

Looks like fun....maybe someday I'll make it to one....where will it be next year?

WOW awesome shots Chuck!
I still need to go through mine and see what sticks.
It was a pleasure meeting all of you. I had a great time.
Specially seeing Nikki's Frag session  LOL
I look forward to IMAC and the next MACNA.
I'll post pics when I can

Well, Sharks, not much to say about the workshop, except - "oops" - you were a blast to hang around, btw :)

Here are some shots I took. Chucks are better, but thought I'd post mine anyway.

Here was the view from my room at night:

in this one you can see the New England Aquarium. It is at the bottom center of the photo...it has the big tent in front of it. That is where the banquet was held. The overflow was inside the aquarium....and where we ate. It was nice inside with great conversation - Larry Jackson and Bruce Carlson were awesome.

Mark

It was good to meet you. Nice to put the face to the name .... as it was with the rest of the crew I met. Getting together like we did made the whole trip enjoyable for sure. Show us your pictures when you get a chance.

Hey Nikki, your skyline is a better one for sure. Like that closeup of Boston too ... It sure is a pretty city huh?

Nice pictures.

Wow, I've seen more pics of Mikey on the net in the last couple of days than I have in the last 5 years, lol. I think he must be mellowing with age :D I'm wondering what Chuck's thinking in that pic, tho ;)

Glad you all had a good time!
