Pinpoint Nitrate Monitor

Boomer, have you had a chance to try one of the Pinpoint Nitrate Monitors by American Marine? Do these work well or are they about as useful as their calcium monitor (i.e. PoS)?

I am always looking for new toys, but personally a nitrate test takes me about 3 minutes once a month so I can't justify spending the money even if it works.

Nice idea... but as you said, it doesn't take long to test Nitrates with my Salifert Kit... and I can buy a GRUNCH of those test kits for the cost of that monitor. I think I'll stay with what I'm using.

Would be interesting to hear what a PRO thinks about them though!!!
