Pistol Id?

Hi Joker 577 been watching your thread thought I would dig up a old picture of a mated pair of Alpheus bisincisus.
I have had these for about 2+ years now they do pretty well they stay in the same spot and they have a Amblyeleotris randalli as their pet and it stays real close with him.
I find it fun and entertaining to watch these guys work..anyway enought rambling...Look like yours?

It's orange/redish with a yellow stripe

Just picture a cleaner shrimp but instead of yellow its orangish and has orangish claws but still has the stripe on the back, my goby will get real close only to have it snap at him lol

I didn't say I was hand feeding him, I said he snaps at my goby. And its not that kind because he has a stripe down his back

Is this him?

How in the world do I catch him lol, he lives in a hole in one of my lower rocks under all my corals and zoanthid colonies! any trap ideas? plus the fact that he snaps

try to put a bottle in front of his hole and put some food in there and when he goes in block him. That is how I caught mine. Also if your rock has tons of hole in it take the rock he is underneath out and see it he is in a hole. JUst put it in a bucet and swish the rock around, I have done both techniques but if you can do it the second way it is alot easier.

OMG LOL! well I think he'll be alright for now he doesn't bother anyone lol...but when he does he's gone!
