Plate corals

What and where is the best place to put a plate coral? My LFS has had this one in their tank for months and I have been chomping on the bit to get it so I did and I want to locate it in the best possible spot. Thanks in advance

Mine is about 8 inches across and it sits in the middle of my tank on the sand
