One colony of my zoos sees to be rotting away everyone has wrote about a fungus zoos get. Is there a cure, it has been suggested through the zoos out.
The wasting seems to be isolated to one colony.
Thanks,
Greg

Hey Greg. If the colony is rotting and has been covered by a fungus type film, its really hard for them to recover. I have seen some folks have luck with getting the colony under some good flow to keep the fungus from completely covering it. Its a long shot, but might be worth a try. If the colony is to far gone it might be best to just remove it, so you reduce the chance of it spreading.

Hey Greg,
I have a pink colony that started rotting away, and I just pointed a powerhead at it. I lost about half the colony, but it seems to be recovering the past couple of weeks. There hasn't been any die-off since then. Hope this helps! I know it doesn't for everyone.

Thank, guys I will move powerhead around and start preying. I will let you know the outcome.

With zoos, you need to take out/ripout the ones that are melting or are covered in filmy material. Zoos are really interesting because if only one looks bad, the ones surrounding it also tend to look a little different.

Clean up the area that is the worst, give it a little shake in the water column to rid it of any detritus, if any.

Keep us updated.
