Please help!

I'm totally disgusted, discouraged and just down right pi$$ed
These dang shrooms have taken over my tank and I've no idea how to get rid of them. Aside from tearing down and scrubbing the rock that is
I've tried a Majano Wand, didn't work. I've tried the new Algae Vacuum and that didn't work either.
As you can see the are choking out Zoas, Sun Coral and just about everything they touch.
Please any suggestions!!

thats a lo of shrooms...

start selling them and just pluck them out and send them off..

maybe just charge shipping or charge like .5 each and if you buy 10 you get 5 free...

they will be gone quick and you can be a shroom farmer...

When I had a plague of mushrooms in my 240, I tried scraping them off and it was just a royal pita.
What I found worked the best ( for me) was to kalk paste them. Just doing certain areas ( 15%-20%) at a time.
I would do this on water change days.
Apply the kalk paste with all pumps off. Let it sit for 20-25 minutes, then syphon off the mess carefully.
Do the water change, then turn off the lights before turning any pumps back on. Turning off the lights help shut down corals, so they would be less likely to be burned by the kalk paste that is left over and blown around by water circulation.
I usually left the lights off the rest of the day.

wow, I like your tank. very pretty. if you were closer, I'd take quite a few. I know a few people over here that would buy them. I know they tend to come back even if you peel them off, but if they do come back, it would be easier to kill them when they are tiny.

If you want to keep it alive (sell it, give away) it here is the thing, turn on heavy circulation pump,until you will see the polyp starting like fly away. Some will fall off the rock then scoop them out.

If not then use kalk paste. They'll die be careful on the zoa and recodria though

Question: How will the paste affect my ALK levels? I use Kalkwasser in my ATO.

I never really worried about what the kalk paste did to the water chemistry on my softy tank.
It never seemed to be a issue.
What I tried to do was remove as much as the kalk paste as possible.
I happen to use a python water change hose, so I get pretty good suction on the syphon hose.

Nana, check with Trido, he has a homemade zapper that he uses on aiptasia and when his xenias start to go wild. He had a previous post in here on how to build one. I used his once and it worked great.

I'v tried the Majano Wand (Aptasia zapper) and the shrooms will shrink up but back to full bloom the next day Oh and if it's applied directly to their mouth they release some white gunk?!
Gonna try Kalk paste tomorrow

inject the mushrooms using a meat injector for marinating it has a huge needle on it. use boiling water.

Nana is it the psas clubs? Maybe I'll ask to use it. Or Finn what do you think it'd cost to ship it? Would it only take one treating to zap them all?
I just ordered more aptasia x thursday hoping to get most of them gone, but they're so big now :/ I don't think it would work. PM me if possible.
