Poor quality salt?????

I have heard that Kent Marine sea salt has had some problems recently. I know I had bought a bad bucket a while back " 2 kh 900 pm mag. but lucky I tested the stuff before I used it. That was around the time Coralife bought Kent. Now I hear Kent is having problems again " Cyano " has anyone had any problems with this salt???
I think I will be going back to IO again.:doubt:

Not shure there is a problem with Kent now just talk from other reefers in my area. I did get a bad batch of kent the readings were way off but that was a while ago now. The supplier refunded me right away and was aware of a problem. Just wanted to know if anyone was having any problems with this salt now as I use it also.

I knew there was a bad Kent batch in March. One of the local reefers here experienced. This was his thread: Kent Salt Mix Has Low alk. Its a good thing you tested the water prior to use. Some folks don't realize they should do this, but it is a good idea to test each bucket or batch you buy prior to use. Not only for issues such as this, but also to determine what (if any) levels need to be adjusted prior to water change.

Yes it was. This was advice I got from a fellow reefer. A fellow reefer also said to me that he was getting cyano from the salt and others had complained at the lfs of the same problem. I also had some unexplained problems with my tank and I just wanted to know if anyone was using this product and getting cynao algae as a result. Ah yes it was in march when I got the bad batch of KM thanks for reminder.
