You need to hit the INSERT IMAGE icon. Then enter the website of the photo.

If you are familiar with IMG tags, you can also do it manually, by doing this, minus the " "

but how do i get the address of the photo?

You need to upload the photo to your server first.

OR

if you do not have one for hosting images, you can just upload it to RF, and it will have a thumbnail displayed for you.

ok since Elmo didn't finish how you do it I'll see if I can continue the process.

After you upload your photo to either a hosting server and/or RF you can get the URL of the picture by clicking on the picture, then do a RIGHT CLICK and go down to PROPERTIES. A dialog box will pop up with the attributes of the picture. There is a section called ADDRESS that will look like this: http://www.reeffrontiers.com/photos_members/data/501/63mille.jpg. You can do 2 things here. 1. If you double click on the address part it should highlight the entire section you need. Then you can either RIGHT CLICK and hit COPY or hit CTRL-C. This will copy the entire URL to your Clipboard. 2. Just write down the URL on a piece of paper or something. Step 1 is alot easier once you get used to doing it. Also you can only do one image at a time. So the easiest way if you want to do multiple photos in a single post is by having 2 windows open of IE if you use IE or different TABS if you use Firefox.

After you have that part done you can create a new post or reply in an old post and use the IMG option and just PASTE or TYPE in the URL of the picture.

so the effect of the example I gave above would be:

63mille.jpg

or you can do this, save the image to my pictures, click on advanced reply at the bottom of new reply, go to browse click and go to my pictures click and hit upload. The image has to be a certain size and I use iframview to resize mine so it will fit. HTH Steve

yeah and that is another way......but you have to resize pictures and all to get it to work correctly.
