yesterday we had a power outage in upstate NY power was out for several hours the ac was also out and my tank went into the upper 80 degree areaeverything seems to be ok now except my acro suharsonoi ithink thats the correct spelling it went from deep blue/purple to khaki beige which was the color sort off anyway when i got it a year ago do you think its toast or any chance of a come back?

Keep it in there till it grows algea on it. I had one that bleach out for 6 months then came back to life. Live tissue wont let algae grow on it eventhough it may be a dull color.

Ollie where do you live in Upstate? I am from NF, just a little misplaced. Good luck with your corals. I agree leave it there until algae takes over. The stress could definately change the color.

Hello,
Most SPS that are subject to high temperatures will RTN in 24 hours or less if they are going to die. If they survive (any thing other than tissue loss) they almost always recover fully in a month or less.

HTH,
Kevin
