im wondering if there is a way to make a diy powerhead water flow splitter anyone have any ideas?

It'd sure cut back on flow though, I'd think. Have you looked in the Hydor Flo units? They attach to powerheads, don't lower flow much and create great random flow from the powerhead.

I like my hydorflo. The important thing about the flow is it is not blowing straight at the same piece of coral relentlessly.

i agree on the hydor flo and its cheap enough that you would be hard pressed to make something work so good yourself for less
