price increase

Hello all,

I have just got word that polycast has decided it is time to increase acrylic prices across the board by 8%. All other acrylic manufactures are following there lead. At least the ones that matter to me. Polycast and Plex-G are the only plastics I use to craft our works of art. They have been super consistant, and a pleasure to work with.

I remember in the early 90's a 100 went for like 549.99. Thoes days are long gone!

So, if you are looking to get a tank soon, get with your local LFS and get your plastic paid for berore April 15, and you will save 8%. Think of it as your tank is on sale!

Gas is better than plastic....eventually gas prices drop after the rise..Plastic never comes down after an increase!!! Something to remember...

if i want 72x48x30 high(much different to 84x48x30high),,view 3 sides front back and side,coast to coast over flow on one 48''side,,do i need to go through LPS or can i order direct from you,please send me pm with all the info price and gals,thanks

I would look to get a quote from Barrier Reef. They are the closest store to you, and it will be lest expensive for you. Keep us posted, Jason

I have just recieved word from my suppliers that a second price increase is going into effect on the 15th of this month. This time it is 15%. The cost of material is not getting any cheaper. If you are on the fence on a new tank, get your order in and take advantage of the price as it is now. I have never seen a cost decrease in plastic. Steel is doing the same thing. I am paying almost double now than when I started doing structual stands almost 5 years ago. Lets all convert our cars to electric!
