problem with my skimmer

I cleaned my skimmer out the other day and now its just filling the cup with water in about 5 seconds. Took the pump off and cleaned and no change. It is a euro reef skimmer. ANy suggestions anyone?

Raise the outlet tube to the top until things settle down

Tube only allows for two settings, one low one high. Dosen't matter which I try.

Check to see if there is a plug in the air inlet hose or where it connects

Just a thought, I also have a Euro Reef skimmer and I occasionally have that difficulty. Do you run heated freshwater through the air intake tubing occasionally to dissolve the salt crystals that form there? I just dunk the end of the tubing (asjustment valve and all) in a cup of water and let the system suck it through.

Yep, I medicated for red slime about a week ago. So I did the water change and not thinking about this, my skimmer stopped working. Well I did the water intake, threw in some carbon just in case remnants remained and presto.
