program for notes, tests and observations?

anyone know of any shareware windows programs where you can log notes, tank parameters, visual observations? like most of you im on my laptop everyday and would like to log observations and tests and refer back to them month to month. anyone creative to create one? maybe we can share amongst each other so we can keep tabs of the tanks we love on reeffrontiers and how they get those fantastic results.
