I think it is fair to say there is some reasonable debate about the possibility of sustaining a manderin on prepared foods alone. It's not as black and white as many people make it out to be any more. I was just reading a post by Lee that suggested it's possible to maintain a trained manderin on highly nutritious prepared foods in a 29. The tank needs to be free of highly competitive fish and the manderin needs plenty of time to eat. Good luck, whatever you decide. They are beautiful fish.
