Had some Green hair in spots on in my sump. Do you guys leave it in your tanks? Like just leave he sump alone all together?

I took a tooth brush and a net in front of my return and cleared it all out. Looks purredy with the coralline algae spots everywhere :D

I leave it alone, better there than in your display. I'd leave it and let it compete for the nutrients.

My sump is dark so as to prevent algae growth in the skimmer. I just use the sump as a place for equipment, (skimmer, heater, return pumps, bio pellet reactor & Phosban reactor), and as a settling area for detritus....
When I do water changes, I can suck up the settled crud, from the first two chambers of the sump and that comes out to about a 20% water change when done....

Yea I have cheato and dragons breath down below. I just didn't know if I should leave the green slime.
It's so purdy clean tho. :)
I need my cheato to GROW already!
I've been trying to stretch out my waterchanges to help the growth.
One thing..... Should I have my macros in the pre skimmed/ filtered water?

The skimmer wont filter out everything so after the skimmer is fine. I let the hair grow, after my change in lights I started seeing it in my display but im lucky to have a yellow tang that eats anything plant like, so I don't mind it. In the sump growth is fine.
