My question is actualy this, would it bother anyone if i showed up in uniform?...I have to be at work at 2000 hrs...errrr 8pm and I usually come in already suited up.

I sure see no problem :) I showed up last year wearing a pirate costume for an event I was attending afterwards.

If I can get to the meeting, btw, and I schlep a small tank setup along, I could bring for trade - well, not much... I have 4 blue/green spotted mushrooms (small), 1 small red sea xenia, green buttons, and piles of kenya tree corals (what a surprise :) ). I'm mostly interested in softs and LPS for this tank.

Heidi

Heidi you dont have to bring a tank set up, we will have a few there to store your things in while the trading is going on.

The tank setup is because I'd be in a hotel from Friday till Sunday. A way to give them halfway decent conditions before and after the swap. Of course this is all dependent on finding a ride, but I'd imagine a little Eclipse would give them waterflow and temp, and a little light. Just take the biowheel and cartridge out :)

So 6:00 is the start time. Is this place a restaurant or..? Is there enough room for a crowd of swappers :)

Also who should I see at the meeting for paying my dues?

There will be a place at the meeting to pay dues. It will be obvious.

The place is actually a business location (salsa factory). There should be plenty of room for all who wish to partake, and if memory serves me, people will come and go through out the evening.

Guess I'll be undercover after all. I found out my overtime job doesn't start until 11pm so I can come in my civies.........

I will suggest that it seems to me, and some others that at the last frag swap, temperature was an issue. This is typically when you finish a trade early on...and you have it in your possession, or on the way home, and since it is starting at 6:00 pm, it will get colder outside.

I would get some heat packs, if you are travelling far, or are staying late and have things you are carrying, i.e frags, etc.

Elmo,

The best bet to keep your frags warm is to float them in the display tanks until you're ready to leave and then throw them in a cooler for the ride home.

Reed:

I have 8 pink milli frags ready for the Swap on Saturday. a few are large 2-3 inch with lots of branchs.

I am also bringing a single 1 inch bright Purple milli frag.

I also have two Multi-colored milli's red, yellow and even some green.

It appears it's going to be pointless for me to attend, I haven't got anything of interest to swap, and no money at the moment. That combined with the difficulty of hauling a mini setup along ... well, I'll just have to try for the next meeting, I guess.

I wouldn't say it would be pointless. A good thing about these meetings is to get together and have fun. To see everyone and enjoy the company ... I am not bringing anything to trade either. I will be there to just have some good ole reefing fun ...

Yeah, if it didn't involve skipping out on something else I sure would. Hopefully next month :-( (why do I keep ending up double or triple-booked every Saturday when I don't even *have* a social life?)

Can I trade a bottle of wine for some frags...(of course only if anyone is interested in a nice cabernet or something) Maybe that's why I am cash poor...because I buy too much wine???

Just trying a creative approach :)

Kevin,
Can you bring some IC Gel to sell to people that need some for frags please? I myself could use a few bottles.
Thanks in advance
Ed

Paul, I'm interested in the yellow and green milli's. Could you save a frag of each for me?

Anybody got any A. secale they would be willing to swap? I'm also looking for some of the colorful encrusting types of Montipora?

Thanks,
Ron
