PSAS grow out competition..

Heres the deal.. we are thinking of doing a grow out competition from Dec. to June ..
we were thinking of getting two nice chalice colonies and one or two zoo colonies.
Everyone will start with the same amount of corals "frags" (as close as possible) the one who grows the most and has the biggest corals
will receive a prize (yet to be determined but will be chosen before the competition starts)
There will be a small fee to "buy in" to the competition to pay for the corals.
Depending which ones we choose to get.
if we can get 10 people to play it should only be around 30 bucks or so each (plus shipping if you live to far away.)
There is gonna be a few rules
#1 You must be a PSAS member in good standing before the corals are picked up
#2 You must post pics and updates at least once a month on the PSAS.org website (there will be a thread specifically for this) THIS ONE IS NOT AN OPTION If you cant post pics and updates monthly you cant play!
#3 The corals must go into YOUR TANK..

this is just a feeling out thread for now to see who would be interested..
And yes.. when all over you get to keep the corals!!
We will prolly have 1st 2nd and 3rd place prizes.. (this has not been determined yet)

Great idea....I ran a few of these on my local club....would you like me to forward our "rules" to see if they will help here? I can also send you links to our previous competitions so you can see how those ran and what issues I encountered.
