Reef Aquarium & Tank Building Forum

Help Support Reef Aquarium & Tank Building Forum:

Were donating a 12 gallon aquapod to the PSAS to raffle off at the meeting. I figured that would be fun for just about anyone for a species tank. Maybe...frogfish???? Not that I have a addiction to frogfish.:D

I am going to win that aquapod and use it to breed snails! Really nice raffle item Eric. It's not the one with the crack in it is it?? Hey...JUST KIDDING!!! :p

You know we are are tank free now, but that would really be cute with two of Elmo's Onyx babies........ shhhhhhhhhhh

If Scott reads this he won't let me come. :)

Hey, will there be pump/powerhead demos? Should I bring a Vortech and a Don Nguyen modded Tunze 6025? That bad boy out-strips the Maxi-Jet mod and uses only 5W!!!

I did it.. I passed up free mariner's tickets in a catered box to come to this. I can't tell you how excited I am to hear about this topic!!! I can't wait to see what Jake brings to the table (no pressure Jake:) )

I am however looking for a couple car pool buddies from the north end (snohomish, mill creek, everett, Lynwood, etc). any takers?

Jnarowe- I would like to see those mods-I think you should bring them:D
Cheers,
Tracy

class clown,
I 'm in bothell (thrashers corner) and can carpool with you :)
Paul I've Got all day !!!

Tracy: I'll bbring them along of course but I don't want to step on any toes...I have a knack for that!

flow discussion ehh? - excellent. I'll ditto Mark's sentiments - Very timely indeed.

I'll make sure to bring lots of questions. Recently been hearing talk about a barreling effect for SPS tanks may be more beneficial than the chaotic turbulent waters. Then again, I just got back from a vacation where I did some snorkeling in Cabo and saw nothing but turbulent waters. hmmm... I can't wait to here what Jake says.

anyone in the Everett, Mill Creek, Snohomish, Bothell, Lynwood area looking to carpool for this?

Is the ferry the best way to make it over to Silverdale for us North-ender folks?

Ben can I have a ride :D

Hi Colleen.

I'll have a couple here for ya when you are ready :)
Looks like I'll be able to come this time, and want to hear about this flow issue.

Best,
Ilham

That will definately be a very busy ferry weekend; so carpooling would be a great idea. North of Seattle - Kingston Ferry (Edmonds) and South would be the Seattle Ferry.

Great..

That said, what would be your recomendation for a target time to hit the ferries for folks in the North End? here's a link to the Kingston/edmonds ferry schedule.

If North-enders targeted the 1:30 ferry, would that be the best one? If we miss the 1:30, we would still have a 2:30. Or would you recomend going even earlier and targeting the 12:55 ferry.

I have a nice dodge dakota 4x4 Quad Cab we could use :)

Just let me know if you think it's bigger or smaller ?

And I vote for earlier as The schedule says at 2:30 they get to 60 min wait times and it's nice out so I say earlier is better with me !! :)

Yep, it's possible there may be a 2 ferry wait time if it's a very busy weekend. So maybe 1:30 is best

Don't forget pizza at round table/Silverdale @2:30 so scedual accordingly.:)
