Hi,

I was taking photos of my tank, turned around, then turned back around and saw a puff of white smoke like in the water and then it was gone. I didn't see where it came from but it was small and moved in a upward motion to top of tank and then ws gone before it hit the top of the water. Anyone know what is was, where it might have come from, and how it could have happened? I saw it right above a piece of live rock with about 4 hermit crabs on it. On that particular piece there is a small section of hard green algae (not sure if algae) with small bublbles. That's the only thing I can think of.

Thanks
Tracy

I just had a stomatella do this while speeding across the glass: never saw one move so fast. Five puffs, like a locomotive.

Crazy, had the same thing happen a couple of weeks ago. Thought some inverts had gotten hold of some wacky tabaccy, or something.Nice to know it's not something to worry about.
