could anyone give me some advice on vegetable matter for my angel. This fish is not eating much of prime reef food that I offer ,it does pick at some algea but there is not much of this in my tank. I have heard that nori seaweed sheets are good but have yet to find these at the local asian market what else could I offer this fish to eat. thank you for all suggestions:confused: scott franklin (sandi)

You can purchase seaweed strips at your local fish store. My fish love the purple.
Also find Pygmy Angel food by OC..Formulas one and two, Marine Cusine, Emerald Entree,Mysis Shrimp, Brine Srimp is fine but do get the 'enriched' brands as Brine has no nutritional value .
Good to feed a variety of foods and to soak the food in vitamins such as Vita chem and Selcon

Nori seaweed sheets

Scott...When I had my juvenile french angel, he ate the Forumla 1 and 2 flakes as well as the nori readily. I got my nori from the local supermarket and didn't need to go to a specialty asain market to get it... :)

What size is the nanoreef that it is in? It's possible it may not be eating from stress... :|

Thank you everyone for the good advice I will try and find the food you all suggested......... P.S. Apprentice I live in the tri_cities will have to get together and you can see my tank maybe you could help me with the angel.......thanks again Scott (sandi)

Also check with your LFS to see if they sell frozen mixtures that contain spurulina and sponge. Check the package to see if it contains B12 (sometimes listed as hydroxocobalamin). If not, buy a liquid vitamin that does. Vita chem, Zoe and the like. B12 is a great appetite stimulant.

Cheers
Steve
