QT for Yellow Watchman Goby

Hello,
I am going to run my tank fallow for 6 weeks. I have noticed a couple of white spots (ICH) on a fish. My question: Will my Yellow Watchman Goby be alright in a bare bottom QT tank. I have put PVC pipe in it, but he likes to burrow.

Even though I have not seen anything on the YWG. It just seems dumb to put him in my other tank, that has 2 maroon clowns in it.

Nothing has been moved yet. QT setup and ready.

Are you planning on doing hyposalinity treatment on the fish in QT?

I certainly would put the YWG in QT, BB and all.

i had to QT my rainfords gobie for 5 days in a BB and i hatched out some brine shrimp for him.

Yes, I will be doing hyposalinity treatment for all of the fish.

He'll be fine, I had mine in a barebottom QT with PVC for over a month.

Goy any tips on catching him?

A few hours after lights out and you can literally cradle them in your hand. At the very least they should be quite docile and ease into your transfer container.

Please be sure that any/all fish in this tank undergo treatment.
