After my sponge is done getting seeded and weather warms up a bit, I'm going to get 7 to 10 Dispar Anthias'. I was reading the QT process and it says to NOT TO QT FISH TOGETHER! So, how would I QT the anthias? I don't have room for that many QT tanks. Thanks,
Tyler

I would QT them together. They should be purchased at the same time if possible with one male and the rest female. With many of the anthia's it is easy to tell. Males have a very large and long dorsal fin that sticks straight up. QT'ing them together will allow them to begin to sort out their hierchy without the stress of other fish.

I also personally had very bad luck with trying to freshwater dip anthias. They are a relatively fragile fish and did not tolerate the stress, despite my best efforts to minimize the stress.

If your intention is to introduce a school of fish, then I would quarantine them together. Just be prepared for complications. You have more fish to inspect closely each day and if any fish show signs of a problem you must treat them all.

The one-fish guideline was meant mostly for pairs of fish and fish of a different species being put together through the quarantine process.
