question about lighting

I was just wondering if I can order LED's off Amazon and custom make my own light fixture to replace the halogen bulbs. (preferably not the very expensive LED's). I had an idea of mounting a string of LED's inside the hood that was made for my tank.

contact oceans by design ther units are cheaper than diy and anything u can find offline. and the par is far better aswell. i have diyed and bought there units im only talking from experience.

They will help you put something together. You can get an idea what it would cost to do.

I agree with Senji, contact oceans by design or rapidled if you prefer the DIY method. I used rapid and have been very happy.
