My Kenya tree has turned white and my nem looks lighter then it was a week ago. What could cause that?

well, before I give an answer what are the water params:

Ammonia
Nitrite
Nitrates
pH
Temp
Salinity
Ca
Mg
Alk

How big is the tank? How much flow do you have?
Anything recently added?
Do you change salt mixes recently?

Good article, but to find the cause we still need the questions I gave answered.

It will really help to know what your water parameters the NC2WA listed are. and what kind of lighting you are using.

By reading the article the OP may be able to "simply" eliminate the most common causes first. He did ask for possible causes right?

I'll test my water and post the results when I get a chance. Thank you for the article. Like I said its only those two items and nothing else. Kind of strange to me.

Like i said. It's only 2 pieces of Kenya tree. The rest of the Kenya trees and everything else in the tank is fine.

LOL...I cant keep a kenya in one of my softy tanks. And I cant keep xenia in the other.
