I just got two phosban reactors and was planning on running both simultaneously with 3/4's of each carbon and 1/4 of each with rowaphos in a media bag. My main DT is 100g with a 55g refugium and about 10-12 gallons in the sump. I was thinking that the two reactors might be a bit overkill to run them both with the same in each, however was advised not to run just rowa in the reactor since I would lose a lot of it into the tank since it would have to be run loose and not in a media bag. I am thinking that there might be a better plan here that I could be overlooking...any ideas?

I ran mine in two different reactors. Each one had is owe feed. I ran the phosban a slow flow, just enough to get a tumble at the top. I ran the carbon a faster flow.... I heard that you had to run the phosban slow so it did not turn to dust.

Running the media in separate reactors also lets you change them a different times. The carbon will have to be changes much more frequently....

Okay, so it would be a good idea to run one reactor per media type? I bought a mj400 and was just going to link the two together...

I believe you can daisy chain them together, however you have to be able to control the speed of water travel separately. I would run two lines from your pump with a ball valve on each. That way you can run each individually off of one pump.
