hey all, any suggestions for a quiet auto feeder? I'd like to feed at least twice a day but 3 would be even better.

Thanks,

Have you tried the eheim? I don't hear anything when it turns but it may be because of background noise. We've got a bunch on the shelf and we could spin one for ya. Programmable for multiple feedings each day.

I use the Eheim unit as well. It's very quiet and can be programmed to feed up to 4 times a day. Plus, you can set it to spin twice for each feeding if you want to. If so, it will spin once, then wait one minute and spin again. Very handy. My only complaint is that it runs on batteries. I'd prefer one with a cord. But I guess that's a danger because they can easily fall into the water, which I've done once. It ruined the feeder, but nothing was harmed in the tank.

Thank you to all of you! I was leaning toward the Eheim anyway, but this just tells me my intuition was correct.

I have a Current-USA autofeeder and a couple Eheims. I bought the Current first but prefer the Eheims (seem easier to program/less bulky/quieter... the current has a clip on it though, that is handy).
