quite the ehiem 1260

i have the ehiem 1260 sitting on the glass floor of return sump and there are slits on pump bracket for what looks to be rubber feet what have you done? pls help

you can use a mouse pad to sit the pump on

you can also get real sponges from like an arts and crafts store you place it on

I used a piece of rubber sheet used for making gaskets that I found in the plumbing dept at McClendon's.

I cut slits in clear plastic tubing and slipped it over the eheim feet.

One more option is silicone hot pads that can be found at most stores like Freddies or Kmart that sells kitchen supplies.
I used a couple of them under a loud pump and they work great. Completely saltwater safe.

yea the rubber sounds the best for not holding in bacteria and algae

I've even read where people will put some sand in a zip-lock baggie and use it as a pillow under noisey pumps.
