Here are a few shots of the Radiata's for ya Maxx...maxx said:Looks gorgeous and I'm not one who normally likes the dwarf lions of that species. You're really making me jealous what with the two radiata's and the new yellow dwarf lion....
Can ya post some new pics of the Radiata's?

They can get up to 7" though I don't think I've seen them any bigger than 5 or so in captivity.tike666 said:Awesome looking "cub"?? How big will it get?? It has some truly amazing color!

They are only eating ghost shrimp still. One of the Radiatas started eating frozen but not enough to servive on yet. Shouldn't be too long before the fuzzy starts eating frozen.MikeS said:Nice looking lion! you mentioned earlier in your post he is on live food like the others...what do you feed him?

Thanks for dropping bye the other day, it's always a pleasure "showing off" the tank.Ed Hahn said:That little yellow guy is awesome. I could not get a picture of him. He kept buzzing around so much. It was definitely happy and healthy..
Gorgeous looking Tank Todd! Thank you for allowing me into your home Saturday.
Radiata's or Clearfin's as they are also refered to as go for about $40-$60 on line at http://www.liveaquaria.com/ or http://www.saltwaterfish.com/ you have to get on the mailing list though since they are not readily available like the volitans. Radiata's are one of the harder lionfish to care for, they usually take longer to ween to frozen and require good water. I read lots of postings about people that thought they were no different than Volitans and end up loosing them. This article http://www.reefkeeping.com/issues/2002-11/fm/feature/index.php gives good advise on the Radiata or any other lionfish you may be interested in. how hard are they to take care of? any different then other lionfish?
