has any one ever had a sea enenome go threw a power head and servive

i had my really nice rose buble tip sea eneome try and feed it self to the power head is there any thing that can help prevent them from geting in to the poer head i dint have the original screen to keep criters out thought i did have a peace of fiber glass tape mesh ofer it and a zip tye to keep in place

i dont know if the sea aneome is going to survive is slowly crawled down the wall and whent and is now stuck to the under side of the rock the few tenticals it has left are like they are normal have good color and are inflated it seems its taken like 75% of the top of the flower head off the sea eneonome if it survies how long will it look mutilated for

Ive seen a few anemones go through the tank blender before and make it, usually if the tank has good water quality and plenty of light, itll sometimes go and split due to the stress, the tentacles will take some time to come back, just keep track of it and see if it feeds after a few days.

i am happy to report that the rbt is on A ROad to recovery and it seem s to want to stay clear of the intakes on power heads has not split witch i was actually hoping it would

I've had an RBTA go through a powerhead not once, but twice. You'd think I'd have learned after the first trip. While healing from it's first voyage, I thought it'd attached, it hadn't. I put it in my refugium for a few days to heal. It didn't have enough light, so I gave it to a friend. This was about a year or so ago. It's now split once or twice and is HUGE.

I had a tube anemone go through one and did not survive. I was actually watching it at the time and got it out of the powerhead as quickly as possible but it was too late.
