RBTA Split 2wice in a Week

I started with a RBTA that was about 8 inches across about a two years ago. One day it split about 1 year ago. Didnt really see it comming. Well since then everything has been fine. I havent really changed anything except put new bulbs on teh aquarium. (all vho's and PC's) Well.. one week a ago.. I did a 35 gallon waterchange. The larger anomone split the following day. 4 days later, (today) The larger of the two split again! Um... now I have 4 2"-3" RBTA's.. I was kinda likin the fact I had one big one, but now I have a bunch of little ones... .. WHATS GOIN ON??? Anyone else experience this?????

120 gallon Soft Coral Tank, six 48" vho's and 2 55w PCs
Seio 1500 and a rio 2100 are the current... Lights come on at 11 am go out at 11pm..

Water perameters are all checkin fine, 25 phosphates, 0 nitrates, 0 nitrite (phosphates have always been high due to the well water I top off with, the soft corals dont seem to mind it, but stonies wouldnt do so well) Calcium, I dont check, Iodine levels are in check.. hmmm.. Its pretty cool.. but I dont know if this is "normal"...

The most recent split was initiated by the stress the water changes caused on the anemone. BTA's will do that.

I would suggest very closely monitoring your new water change water, and ensure its as close to the tanks parameters as you can get it. That may prevent it from stressing out and splitting the next time you do water change.
