I've noticed that these intale drilling a hole at the bottom of the skimmer and using a uni seal to attach the nw pump. It came to me why not use a T on the output of the skimmer that is used to set the water lvl in the skimmer espicially sence most mods include a gate valve mod. The only drilling then would be to attach the water feed to the skimmer. Doing this would allow you to easily restore the skimmer back to the original configuration if you ever wanted to.
