Hey Dang, I gotta ask a question or 2. How do those deal with the amount of flow you have in there, and how do you deal with feeding them, aside from the red bugs?:D :D
Do you have to target feed?

The dragon face pipefish are the crawling type. They don't really swim in open water. They are better suited for more flow then other pipefish (have been reported to eat red bugs too :) I have had mine in my med flow zoanthid tank for about 5 weeks now, seems fat and happy. I bought him to control the pod population. I do not feed him directly. He is the only pod predator in a 40 gallon breeder.

Wow, thanx for the info. I think I'll hit the books for a while.:D :D

they still alive in mytank all 4 of them,,and red bug still decline ,,hardly to detect it anymore ,,they still there but not that much as before..

Thanks, that's a good enough endorsement for me ;) I don't necessarily want to eliminate the red bugs. My tri-color seems to thrive with them... it's growing faster than my other SPS and has good polyp extension. But I have another acro that seems overcome by them.

I've had a couple of these pipefish for about 3 months. I really like them and they deal with the flow in my tank just fine. The jury's still out on whether they're eating any red bugs though. They pick at the rocks mostly, occasionally on the base of a coral but I never see them eating something directly off of a coral. I'm still glad I have them though.
