Red bugs

Hi everyone,

Anyone have any experience with red bugs? I discovered a few red bugs on two of my sps about a week ago and now they are everywhere. Also, some have the sps have started stn. Do red bugs directly affect sps coral health, leading to stn, loss of color, etc.?? Anyone know of a good book that directly addresses "red bugs"? I have read online about the use of "Interceptor" to kill red bugs, but am worried about loosing my amphipod, copepod, & mysid shrimp populations (I have lot of these and want to eventually add a Mandarin). Any help is much appreciated.

Do a SEARCH for Red Bugs on here and you'll find plenty of threads with tons of information.

I used interceptor to get rid of my red bugs and it barely dented my pod population.

Thanks! I normally quarantine all incoming corals, yet apparantely they slipped by unnoticed.
