I stopped feeding, turned my lights off for 4 days. And did a water change every two days

stopped feeding and lighting are two major sources of nutrients for cyano..but doing what you did, you basically eliminating the source of nutrients for cyano..I will not argue with you that Chemiclean works, but removing root cause will remove the need to use said product.

As Nana said, Poor light source, meaning light bulbs need to be changed...How old are your bulbs?

Do you run any reactors that could be adding nutrients to the tank?

Lastly, for your water changes do you use RO or tap water? If tap water, this could be added extra nutrients to the tank.

im currently in the proccess in geting leds for this tank. i do use 5 stage ro/di. id smack anybody who uses tap water. and if u have read i dont use chemicals other than dose. i run carbon and change every 2 weeks. i have 2 poerheads that are 12000 l/h way overkill for this tank. so flow is not the problem. feeding shedual is as follows day 1 homemade protien {mostly prawn and garlic} the size of half a mysis cube thawd and rinced with ro/di. day 2 flake/pellot 1/4 teaspoon. day 3 same as day 2. day 4 start all over from day 1.

Lamps aren't that old. So maybe it is an excess nutrient issue where it's settling in the lower flow areas, i.e. dead spots.

no dead spots if i lower or poin down my heads at all i blow all the sand out of the corners of the tank. im thinking new tank syndrome. ive uped my maitenance and seems to be helping. also thinking the higher temps are to blame so the leds with the violet should help a ton. im going to start saveing and have a custom prototype tank that is blowing all equipment out of the water built soon for me. the skimmer alone this person alone designed is beating 3k dollar skimmers. i see in the verry near future will be avail to everybodt. and pls dont ask any questions i fear ive said to much allready.

Best method that ever worked for me, this isn't the hardest algae to get under control, siphon, flow, feeding control with cleaning and you'll see long term results!
+1It's best that you siphon out what you can prior to using ANY chemical removal for best results. Also water flow and nutrients levels are important. Cyano is found in EVERYONE body of water in the world, fortune has it we can in our home system battle it. But everyone goes through a outbreak at one Imel or another..
