Hey everyone. I have taken quite a big step back from reef keeping in the past 1.5 years as my life turns in circles. I am finally ready to take the next step and get a new tank. I have been looking at tank sets and I really like the red sea max 250. I know it is a little more pricy but from the reviews it looks awesome. Does anyone have one? Or any advice?

Thanks, Kassie

I had the smaller 30g RSM It was a very well thought out tank! They are pricy and I upgraded the lighting and tweaked things here and there like a new skimmer bigger PH's but still a nice all in one. You'll spend that much building one compatible.

I have a RSM34 and it is a great little tank. If I could get my hands on a 250, I would get it. I think they have a great system. Yeah the lighting that came with mine is just pcs but I am keeping a beautiful anemone with it.

I have got a RSM 250 and it does everything I need. You are limited with the lighting, since it comes with only the T-5 option, but it works great for me. I turned mine into an SPS reef tank and the T-5's work great for growing coral. I've made a few modifications to mine, so if u need any help or have anymore questions, don't hesitate to ask
