Reefing and the internet

This is such a great hobby to begin with. I'm especially excited because anytime i want to know something about salt tanks and fish i just hop online. back when i ran a tank in 92. there was no internet and i had to rely on what i was being told by people who had salt setups. now its just about swiveling my chair around and typing. love it.

Ive never had any other tanks b4...i dont remember how i ended up on these fourms... but i did some reading and bam....

reefing with almost none losses
feel bad for the carpet surfers back in the day.

I agree! I live near the ocean and still learned everything I basically know about the hobby from the internet

True the Internet has opened up the world for knowledge sharing. Cuts thru all the smoke and mirrors and elixirs of unknown magic posions that have been sold for years.
The hobby has drastically changed in the last 10 years.

This forum in my opion is one of the very best.

yeah , i usually go hard with all my new hobbies, modding turntables, collecting phono cartridges, now im collecting live rock. gotta love life!
