Well the tanks been up and running now for just shy of 2 years so I suppose a build thread is not an option :der: but I also realized I never really posted anything here, not this tank nor the 75 that started this whole ordeal. Actually it started with a 24 gallon nano back in 2009 after I got back into the hobby after a 20 year break. If memory serves me correctly that nano lasted 45 days before my first upgrade. The funny thing my wife tells me when I brought it home she told my son "watch, Dad will have a new tank within 6 months"

Anyway, way back (way back) in the day I had always told the wife (who was the GF at the time) how some day it would be sweet to have a big in wall-:eyebrows: Fast forward 25 years and here I am-she gave me the green light as long as when I did it, a complete remodel of the Family Room came with it. Its been great but I'm already day dreaming of a bigger system, there is just so many different kinds SPS, and so little space, I guess that explain my frag tanks

So I had the camera out taking a pic of my newest frag tank and thought a FTS was in order. I should probably mention I like taking pics of my stuff :sorry:

Foot print is 72x48x27 100% LED (always has been)

More to follow and thanks for looking

Wow, your SPS looks amazing! Hoping to get there someday too :)

Loving the fish variety I'm seeing too. Can you post a list for us?

Welcome to the Washington side of reef keeping! Tank looks great!

Thanks Roy, if it was a Washington forum I missed that part, you know me I just like to post pics, I have about 30 SPS pics I will load up here once I'm not working :playball:

Congrats on TOTM too and thanks for the kind words!

You have the one pic up, but mentioned your frag tank, interested in pics... the old 75 gallon is your frag tank? are the two systems connected as one?

sorry should have mentioned i am just getting back into the hobby myself after having about 6 years off and getting the itch. lol.. looking around trying to figure out my next steps.

Sorry about the delay, I'm just not active on this forum and thought as was going to be. The 75 is not one of the frag tanks. The 75 was sold aftermI had it set up for about 2 years and everything was strating to out grow the system. I found a deal on a Marineland 150 DD up near Tacoma and made the drive one day to pick it up. The 150 was a purely a temp tank or whatI called "the transition" while I remodeled the family room, framed in the garage area for the equipment room and helped build the 400 gallon in my garage. I think this took about 9 months.

I presently have 2 48x24 x12 frag tanks that are all plumbed into the same system. Will be adding 2 more frag tanks same dims hopefully next month which will also be plumbed into the same system.

Its hard to stay away I guess, Im sure had I ran across a saltwater setup sooner than I did I would have got back into it sooner.

Im not sure have active this forum is, I didnt see a lot of activity so I quite checking back. I spend most of time at a local forum to me PNWMAS and starting to spend more time over at R2R.

Anyway glad to hear you're getting back into it!
