I can't tell if the tank is actually brighter or not, seems like it may be a little? I will have to look at the camera settings for the last picture i took before i changed it, match them up and take another picture to really tell i suppose.

I'm not sure what you ended up doing with the fans but I have to disagree slightly with something Krish was saying (sorry). When mounting fans I would have all of them sucking air into the canopy and not pulling air out. Fans that are pulling air out will corrode more rapidly due to the warm salt air they're removing. If you've got several fans pulling air in and a path for air to escape you're removing the heat and adding some longevity to your fan motors and bearings. May not be a huge consideration but something to think about.

Already done, I thought about that after I put them in and ended up turning them around. I only have one fan one each end, both blowing into the canopy. The back of the canopy is open so I figure the air just goes out that way =) At $24 per fan I want them to last as long as possible!

No need to apologize to disagree. :). My fans were all plastic. Housing, blades.. Everything. Never had an issue with corrosion with any of them as there isnt much to corrode and besides, they cost next to nothing so if they did break down, it wouldn't be an issue to replace. I only had a small opening in the back for air to escape so it needed to be vented. Hot air rises so I put the fans that sucked air out of the canopy to the top seeing it was most logical. As mentioned, never had an issue with corrosion nor did I see any wearing away of them. :)
