Refugium Plumbing

I just purchased a Precision Marine R36 refugium and have a question. What is the best height to drill a hole for a 1" bulkhead for gravity return to my tank so that the flow through the refugium would be optimized? Would the best position be through one of the Precision Marine sticker logos? Or does it not really matter.

secondly i have no idea how to do what your asking,i am wondering though wouldnt it have been cheaper to buy a reg aquarium than to buy a refuge, and just build the refuge your self??
