I love the car, but I really would not look into one as a first car. The only reason I have mine is because I drift and I have a DD as a Silverado. They are just a lot of maintenance and you have to be able to work on themselves since mechanics don't generally understand the wankel engine.

But if you really really want one go for it!

I agree! Not sure if I was getting lemons, but I changed motor once and the guy who bought it from me had to change one himself LOL!

Well I have gotten to the point that a engine removal/rebuild if everything on hand takes about 12-16 hours start to finish. The Wankel engine design is actually very very reliable if it is setup right. By this I mean run a premix, get rid of the OMP which induces nasty crankcase oil into the engine (weird to say that since there is no crank) and get rid of heat if you are running a FI model.

Just firing up this thread again. I totally forgot I even started this

Family photo taken at the kids dedication last month. Couldn't get my wife to go up infront of the church to have it formally done as she doesn't do well being the center of attention (she actually fainted on two seperate occasions when she stood in weddings, but don't tell her I told you'll :lol: ) so finally we had it done at our house with the pastor coming there. Man, my wife sure is lucky I trust her 100% with all of my heart that she would never cheat on me and also the fact that my son looks exactly like my mom (EXACTLY) otherwise I would be wondering what the heck is going on here!!! My daughter and son are two totally different colors :lol:
