Can Ricordiea mushroom anemone's move off rocks?

Yes, if stressed, they made disattach from the rock. To attach it to a rock, I would recommend using a rubberband and banding it onto the rock.

they also will crawl along to somewhere they see/sense as more favorable

Corallimorphs as mentioned above become mobile when it does not favor a location or uses this as a form of asexual reproduction. The original form of cloning if you will. This is seen less in the ric family but does happen.
