ro/di filter?

i think iam pushing the life of my pre filters in my ro/di system, its been over a year, and i havent changed the three pre filters, for the last few months i have notice some bad wire like algea, that is very stiff to the touch, no change in water changes,lighting,or feeding, so iam kinda thinking time to change those filters, any opions?

Try a tds meter they can tell you the quality of your ro water
