I have my ro/di set up in my gargage, with it auto filling into a 32 gallon rubbermade. What things (airstone, circulation pump, heater) do you use in your storage tank?

just what you said.

airstone, power head heater and thermometer to make the same temp as tank

just drained my and cleaned

good to go,

keep the water airated (with air stone and pump) keep in moveing around with power head (doesnt have to be a storm) and keep it heated with a heater to the temp of your tank

I bring ro/di inside in a smaller container for top off. It is storage for that and for water change saltwater mix. I am not heating the storage, I do heat the salt mix. If it is just sitting in the tank in the garage before being used does it need air and to be circulated?

about every 2 months, i get a slime on the sides of the conntanor and the stuff in it.

heating it will make it ready for water change mixing.

mixin the salt water and leting it sit, i think is a bad idea.

if the waters not ready 2 be used it doesnt need to be mixed. (in IMO)

but as far as cleaning goes,

i just dont run it for a while, use up as much as i can, (witch leaves about 2 1/2 inchs) drag it out side. ( on wheels) pour it out, but b4 i fill it, i use my hand to rub it off. then i dry it with towl, clean all the stuff fill it up.

im picky about my holding tank clean and coverd. heated and ready 2 rock

same here i use pump and air stone plus power head small about 1200ltr and a heater 300watt for 138 ltr of water in storage (water butt).
mark.
