Safe Rate of Temp Increase After Power Failure?

Do you guys know what's a good rate of increase for temperature when power is restored after a power outage?

The thunderstorm that ripped through the area last night caused an 8.5 hour long power outage in my neighborhood. My tank's temp had dropped to 71 degrees by the time the power was restored this morning.

Might just be me, but if I were in your shoes, I would probably only allow it to rise 1-2 degrees max each hour till I get it to where I needed it. Just my personal opinion though.

I agree, very slowly is the only way to do it safely.

Yea slow it down. I had a power outage for a couple days, and the coral that was still alive died when I brought the temp up too fast.
