salt level question

What do you guys maintain for spicific gravity. Ive think ive bin low,



what are the majoirty of you keepin your tank at

(BTW...I burn in 5th J/K)

I try to keep mine between 1.25-1.27.

I would recomend between .023 and 26 for reef and less for fish only.

do you think changing from 23, to 25 over the period of like an hour is to much,

its a 30g, with 30 lbs LR and 25 lbs Ls

IMO, I'd go up .001 the first day let everything stablize. Than another .001 the next day.

Do it gradually you're not that far off the mark being at 1.023. No need to rush it.

true true, play it safe, im at like .024 maybe a half up from that, in the morning ill check ageain, go up a little more then tomarrow night ill go up a little more and ill be there

Just do your daily evap top off with salt water for a few days it will come up easily with no ill effects.

ya, i just figered that out, morning and night i do top offs. so ill just add salt to the top off and bring it to the level the tank is at now (oh course)

i figer in 2 more top offs ill be were i have to be, .026

im at .024 now
