salt mix

my salt mix has got some moisture in it and has some what hardend. i broke it up and tried to mix my water and it has grains that will not desolve. any resone? should i not try to use this and go buy some new salt. i hate to throw it out if i don't need to. thanks

oh i use instant ocean. is there a better brand? any help would be great, thanks

have you had any problems with it? it looks like alkaseltzer after it is done fizzing.

Bringing water temp up to proper temp before adding salt will help. Good luck.

i'll try that next time, i usualy get it up to temp as i mix. i did buy some new salt just incase. thanks
