does salt have a shelf life, is it no good once it starts to harden up into a big block...lol just curious

I've bought it and found it hardened in the bucket that day. I just break it up and use it. Never had any problems at all.

I don't know of any sort of expiration date for salt.

You might want to check the phosphates when you mix a batch. If its clumped then it means there was moisture from some where. otherwise shuldnt be a prob.
