Same Clam two very different colors

I got three clams from Barrier reef aquatics and they are doing well, i had an observation earlier that i thought was cool, when you look through the side glass my clams are very blue with cool designs, but when you look through the surface of the water, from the top, they have a fluorescent green to them, i thought this was really cool and i'll get pictures soon

And here's a picture of all three from above, this shot was taken a week or two ago cause i couldn't get a good one today, it has different white balance settings and such so it doesn't look that great but shows the green some

Funny how they look so different from the top down. This is what make a real angle front clam tank so nice. The big one in my avitar looks so much nicer from the top down.

I thought all (tridacnid) clams do this. That's why there are clam tanks with the front of the tank having a 45 degree angle at the top for clam viewing.
